New Kids on the Block

The time has come! Tomorrow we will be doing our first deliveries in Maine. We are pleased as punch to be working with so many local growers and producers to put this first share together. Some of their delicious products will also make their way into our Massachusetts shares, so we are spreading the deliciousness.

Steering the Family Dinner ship up North will be Joe, pictured, as our intrepid General Manager.  Joe’s past life includes over 20 years in the craft beer industry. He’s sold beer to and done events with some of New England’s best bars and restaurants and comes to Family Dinner with a love of bringing folks together over food and drink. 

At home, Joe can’t get enough braised meat and roasted root veg in the fall but makes time for noodle soups, hearty pasta dishes, and olive oil-drenched sheet pan pizza.
 
Joe lives in Portland but is originally from the Chicago area which means his mispronunciation of words like "eggs"("aaaaeeggs") is both confusing and endearing.  He lives with his patient and amazing partner Krista and is bossed around by cats Spencer, Diego, and Zeke.
