  • Shannon chose the 'corny' title of this week's email. I had nothing to do with it. I left it to make her happy and NOT because I couldn't figure out how to edit it. ( I couldn't.)

Have a wonderful day,

It's Movie Night!

While many things are different about this holiday season, I imagine that one simple tradition is holding steady in many of your homes.

The comfort of cozying up in front of a fire, or beneath the warm glow of the Netflix home screen, to watch a movie is one of life's simplest joys - a joy underscored by the bounty of iconic holiday films. Whether you're watching Will Ferrell (in tights) go absolutely berserk with holiday cheer in Elf, or simply falling in love (all over again) with Bruce Willis' shimmery muscles in Die Hard - there is something beautiful about sitting around in your most unflattering sweatpants and watching a movie.

And we wanted to be there with you, along for the cinematic ride.  And since physically joining each of you in your living rooms is both logistically impossible and undeniably creepy - we're sending company in the form of snacks.

Popzup Popcorn was started by husband and wife team Julie and Marty Lapham in Dover, NH.  They contacted us to see if they could send some samples, to try out for the shares. They sent us 4 bags, one of each flavor. Like the true only child I am, I ate two bags myself and "shared" the other two bags with the team. It was a huge hit.

Julie describes their product and how the idea popped to mind:

"We started Popzup Popcorn with the belief that food is better when it’s made from locally sourced, pure & simple, unaltered ingredients, with the passion to be accountable for everything; sourcing, producing, packaging and hiring, and with the mission to always respect our core values to do the right thing for our customers, our employees, and our world.

We make Popzup Popcorn slowly by hand using only pure & simple ingredients like kernels, butter & cheese right from the farm. The Popzup Factory is dedicated gluten free & non-GMO, small family owned & operated business in Dover, New Hampshire.

Popzup Cheddar Head Popcorn ingredients: non-GMO golden butterfly popcorn, coconut oil, real cheddar cheese (milk, cheese, cultures, enzymes), whey, buttermilk, solar dried sea salt, and turmeric. "

We hope you love it more than Bruce Willis' biceps.
