Spring Blend
Spring is a time to begin moving and growing again, for both nature and humans! These herbs boost the immune system and aid in digestion.

Flavor Profile: Subtle, floral, earthy.

Ingredients: cornflower, nettle, elderflower, dandelion leaf, astragalus root.

Herb Information:

  • Nettle: One of the most revered herbs for its high mineral content
  • Astragalus Root: A slightly sweet root that's SO good for your immune system
  • Dandelion Leaf: Generally an herb that promotes internal movement/digestion; aids the liver in eliminating toxins
  • Elderflower: A lovely flower that helps alleviate environmental allergies and boosts the immune system
  • Cornflower: A bright blue flower that's anti-inflammatory and soothing both inside and outside the body (especially for the eyes!)

Brewing Instructions: Prepare an infusion. Place 2 tsp herbs in a glass bowl or jar with a lid, or a ceramic teapot with a lid. Bring water to a boil, then shut off heat and pour water over the herbs. Place the lid over the bowl, jar, or teapot and let steep for at least 20 minutes. The lid helps trap the volatile oils in the herbs that carry the most potent medicine! You can also steep this overnight at either room temp or in the fridge after the liquid reaches room temp.

Kristina’s Preparation Recommendations: This tea is a bit more subtle in flavor, so I love adding a little raw honey to the hot tea.

Breathe Easy Blend
This blend of herbs will help relieve any respiratory ailment you've got.

Flavor Profile: Warmly spicy, herbaceous.

Ingredients: eucalyptus, mullein leaf, ginger, sage, thyme.

Herb Information:

  • Eucalyptus: Helps reduce and break up mucus
  • Mullein Leaf: Relieves sore throat and helps expel mucus
  • Ginger: Reduces inflammation in the lungs
  • Thyme: An antiseptic, antifungal herb that is especially helpful to treat bronchial issues
  • Sage: Helps expel mucus

Brewing Instructions: Prepare an infusion. Place 2 tsp herbs in a glass bowl or jar with a lid, or a ceramic teapot with a lid. Bring water to a boil, then shut off heat and pour water over the herbs. Place the lid over the bowl, jar, or teapot and let steep for at least 20 minutes. The lid helps trap the volatile oils in the herbs that carry the most potent medicine! You can also steep this overnight at either room temp or in the fridge after the liquid reaches room temp.

Kristina’s Preparation Recommendations: This tea is so flavorful as is, but adding raw honey can help that throat of yours, too.
