Autumn Blend
Embrace the autumnal season with this gently spiced, immune-boosting tea blend.

Flavor Profile: Spicy, maple, citrus, earthy.

Ingredients: cinnamon, clove, chaga mushroom, ginger, fenugreek, coriander.

Herb Information:

  • Cinnamon: A stimulating bark that warms the body and aids digestion
  • Clove: A stimulating spice that improves circulation, treats nausea, and relieves toothaches
  • Ginger: Helps stimulate digestion and relieves nausea
  • Chaga Mushroom: An immune-boosting mushroom; high in antioxidants
  • Coriander: Improves digestion and regulates blood sugar
  • Fenugreek: Anti-inflammatory; contains maple flavor notes

Brewing Instructions: Prepare a decoction. Place 2tsp tea in a pot and fill with water. Simmer on the stovetop covered for 30-60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Kristina’s Preparation Recommendations: I love this blend in the morning, either on its own or with a little raw honey added to it.

Winter Blend
Clove and orange peel ground you into the winter season, while uplifting hibiscus, lemon balm, and lavender remind you that warmer temperatures are on their way. Licorice adds a hint of finishing sweetness. Inspired by the "Wu Wei" tea blend.

Flavor Profile: Warm spice, sweet, tart, citrus.

Ingredients: hibiscus, orange peel, clove, lemon balm, lavender, licorice.

Herb Information:

  • Hibiscus: High in vitamin C and antioxidants, astringent, helps tone the urinary tract
  • Clove: A stimulating spice that improves circulation, treats nausea, and relieves toothaches
  • Orange Peel: Counteracts the forming of mucus in the body and helps eliminate it
  • Lemon Balm: A cooling, antiviral herb that helps relieve tension and treat fevers
  • Lavender: A cooling, anxiety-relieving flower
  • Licorice: An anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial root that aids in digestion and respiratory function

Brewing Instructions: Prepare an infusion. Place 2 tsp herbs in a glass bowl or jar with a lid, or a ceramic teapot with a lid. Bring water to a boil, then shut off heat and pour water over the herbs. Place the lid over the bowl, jar, or teapot and let steep for at least 20 minutes. The lid helps trap the volatile oils in the herbs that carry the most potent medicine! You can also steep this overnight at either room temp or in the fridge after the liquid reaches room temp.

Kristina’s Preparation Recommendations: This tea is perfectly flavorful and sweet on its own. You can also serve this as an iced tea on its own, or add pomegranate juice to the iced tea.
