Shout Outs!

Before we dive into this week's newsletter, we have a mini pop-up for you: Perk Me Up.  It's a handful of fun things that we hope will put a smile on your face!  Enjoy yourselves!

SHOUT OUTS!

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

This week the Boston Renegades headed to Canton, Ohio for the Super Bowl of the Women's Football Alliance. They're on mission THREEPEAT after taking the Championship in 2018 and 2019.  This team gives us the warm fuzzies for sure given that many of the players (and both owners!) are Family Dinner customers. Several members of the team are also Family Dinner packers and drivers. (You may have seen them pulling a swim move past your dog to get your share on the porch and then doing high knees back to the car.)

In an incredible move of generosity and support, Robert Kraft offered to fly the team, the coaches, and a few wowed supporters to Canton on the Patriots plane. It was amazing to meet Mr. Kraft at Gillette and hear his words of support before flying off on the plane that will ruin all commercial flights for the rest of our lives.

If you're new to Women's Football, The Boston Renegades are the premier women’s tackle football team in New England and the defending Division 1 Champions of the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA). Bringing together players from many former area teams, including the Boston Militia, New England Intensity, Bay State Warriors, Boston Rampage, and Massachusetts Mutiny, the Renegades are continuing the rich history of women’s football in Boston, which includes five national titles.

And we don't love them just because they are customers (you do not want to fight these women for the weekly treats). We love them for the tireless work, passion, and dedication they put into the sport of football and all the ways they are breaking ceilings and paving the way for future generations of girls to do things they are told they can't.

If you want to know more about this inspiring group of women, check out the Born to Play documentary on Netflix. It's the perfect watch for any sports fan and/or anyone who has a heart that beats in their chest.

Super Bowl is Saturday, let's go, Boston!

The game will be streamed live on FTFnext.com at 6:00 PM EDT.
